I was just reading that Barron is the first male child to live in the White House since JFK Jr. All the other First Family kids have either been girls, or older males who had already moved out of the family home.

French President Emmanuel Macron tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday, following a week when he has met with numerous European leaders...
Macron attended a European Union summit at the end of last week, where he notably had a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. It was not immediately clear what contact tracing efforts were in progress...
Macron had lunch on Wednesday with the prime minister of Portugal. There was no immediate comment from Portuguese officials.
The Spanish government, however, announced that Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who met Macron in Paris on Monday, will place himself in quarantine until Dec. 24.
Macron also held the government's weekly Cabinet meeting Wednesday. French Prime Minister Jean Castex's office said that he will also self-isolate for seven days. A day earlier, Macron had lunch with the heads of political groups at the National Assembly, France's lower house of parliament. |

I don't know who most of those people are, but many of them are quite a bit younger than the average COVID victim.

I tried swiping through that gallery but my finger accidentally clicked on an ad for Whirlpool 36 Inch Wide 28.49 Cu. Ft. Side by Side Refrigerator.
I’d take that fridge in a heartbeat though. I don’t know what’s better, side by side or freezer on the bottom. Anything but this shit I’ve been cursed with for the last 35 years._________________ Every woman who has ever been presented with a career/sex quid pro quo in the entertainment industry should come forward and simply say, “Me, too.” - jammer The New York Times 10/10/17 |

My top shelf is literally at the level of the family jewels. Yep, I just checked! There’s a shelf below that and then the tops of the crisper drawers to put stuff on. 35 fucking years of this shit.
And now COVID.

They just had a multiple choice question on the game show The Hustler asking which style of fridge was the most energy efficient. They said it was the classic freezer on top. I just looked for an explanation on why and found it is because the "compressor" which is on the fridge bottom generates heat and you want the freezer as far away from that heat as possible.

Compressors are getting smaller and smaller. I recently bought 2 Haier (Chinese company that's now the parent company of GE) refrigerators which are ~18 cu ft. All the walls are so thin that you'd be hard-pressed to figure out where the compressor is hiding in either one.

The NH Speaker of the House, Dick Hinch, died of COVID a few weeks ago. He was an anti-masker who had just attended a GOP function with other anti-maskers.
