Too bad the games won't be on live TV. First and last is nice, but everything else only available on a pay stream site? Very few eyes and even fewer NEW eyes will be on the tournament. All the while FS2 and ESPN2 will be airing what? Cornhole? Poker? Collin Cowherd reruns? SMH

it's terrible. I mean, CBS is who their contract is with, but the other games couldn't be on CBS Sports Network?

I seem to recall CBS sports network may televise games on replay..I THINK. Of course, not everyone has access to that channel. Still a sad state where there is crap reruns on sports channels and NWSL can't sniff real live TV.

It really is. I mean, outside of some golf, what else does CBS televise on the weekends?

Orlando out of Challenge Cup as 6 players and 4 staff members test positive for Covid-19. New schedule to be released soon to reflect an 8-team tournament.

A shame but glad they withdrew.

Though since none of them are showing symptoms, doubtful it was necessary to pull the entire team out.

Sydney Leroux & Jullia Poe are blasting their team on Twitter. There doesn't seem to be a solution for the players who aren't positive and need the paycheck. The actions of a few are resulting in the entire team not getting paid this summer.

The NWSL opener on CBS drew 572,000 viewers. Solid ratings. Hoping they add a few more games on CBS.

Hopefully the refs read the rule book. Houston got robbed of a win. Daly's "third goal" was legal as the keeper kicked the ball after it hit the ground, so Daly was not in the wrong for blocking it. Goal should have been allowed, Dash should have won 4-3.
Of course, the subs that came on should have been able to hold a 2-goal lead. At least they didn't do what they did most of last year and blow it all-together and lose the match.
