Every offense needs to go through Cambage right now

The FIBA refs rarely call her for the shoulders and off-arms that might get her offensive fouls in the US, which makes her even more effective. Most of her fouls come on silly defensive and loose ball stuff.
But man they're letting all kinds of contact go under the hoop. |

It's Serbia vs Liz, and Liz has to sit down.
Yikes.

Opals with 26 turnovers. If they win this its a miracle
Does Cambage know that a T will be her 5th personal foul?

Congrats to the Serbs.

Leilani with 6 TO'S
Jarry with 5 TO'S
Cambage 4 TO'S
Erin 3 TO's
Penny had a horrible scoring night. Couldnt get a basket but she had 9 assists and only 1 TO

Defense of Petrovic.
Taylor had 9 assists, so I'm sure she's had worse games.

Serbia just seemed like they wanted it more. They forced turnovers and they got most of the 50-50 balls. Australia looked disorganized on both ends of the court. No movement on offense. On defense, Cambage should be under the basket. Too often, she was out on the perimeter and unable to get back.

So how does BA respond to this? Get rid of the ridiculous "must live in or near-enough Canberra to be national team coach" clause and try to woo back Maher?
ETA: that's not meant to take anything away from Serbia. They played harder, played a better game plan, and took the game when it mattered. But that coaching performance from selection to game execution was pitiful.
