These young women are pretty awesome! The bass was pretty spot on. I like how intense the lead-singer/guitarist is. But the drum player crushes it! Good times to hopefully lighten up a somewhat heavy Tuesday thus far on Area 51.

9, 12, and 14? Shocked Shocked Shocked

Just incredible.

Watched their other videos too, and I have to say their Sweet Child of Mine cover was my favorite. Though the drummer got to show off her pipes in Back in Black, which was also awesome.

I'm a little disappointed not to have comments yet from some of the other audiophiles/musicians on this group. You've failed me, jammer! Wink Laughing

I guess I'm not good at creating clickable titles. Razz

It'll be interesting to see how these young women evolve as musicians as they continue to gain experience.

Nice. One of my favorite song beginnings and guitar solos. They're impressive.

The oldest having the most developed talent was the most impressive to me. Metallica uses two or three lead guitars to reproduce about the same sound. The drumming was spot on. The bass seems like the easiest part but it was handled by a 9 yr old.

I'm surprised the video has that many thumbs down. It's probably mostly Metallica purists who aren't happy when anybody covers Metallica, much less young girls.

Or a bunch of Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity fans are upset because, you know, Mexicans.

There are always some of those people. Internet trolls and the like. Or perhaps family values folk who don't like heavy metal. And probably some saying they're for child welfare and don't like that these young women are being exploited. It takes all kinds, but the internet seems to bring it out more publicly in people.

They were on the Ellen Show today. I didn't really know which song they did. I'm guessing maybe Ozzy Osborne. They sounded pretty good through Ellen's sound board.

Ellen gifted them each $10,000.

I'm slow but then I'm old. Wink I've actually seen these guys about a year ago on Youtube. They are wonderful. It's not really my kind of music but the thing that hits you in the face is the musicianship. They are really held to high standards in terms of time etc. Drummer is especially a peach. Their parents have done really well. They're not from here though, are they?

I got one for you but I've got to figure it out so I don't post an autoplay video.

Well....the girls are fine because they're little....the 9 yr old dude is amazing.

After watching him play, my Strat will be ignored for a few days. Evil or Very Mad

Fun! More money must mean better production values. Wink

It's amazing what kids are doing out there in the other videos as well.

LOVE these young ladies. Great talent. "Enter Sandman and "Pretender" covers were good, and I even liked one of their originals. There is a video of Paulina getting a new drum set and some drum solo covers that are amazing. Hoping to see them live one day.

"Enter Sandman" is one of my all time favorite songs. Its in my iPod. I play it a lot. Especially working out. So to say I was going into the video a little skeptical is putting it mildly. Reflexively, I prepared myself to be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, I think a little polishing is needed but I think they did a good job.

That was 6 years ago. What do you think of their current song?
