| Kind of a bummer that this one is pretty meaningless. I wonder if we’ll even see DT on the court. Might as well give SDS a rest, too. She’s looked out of sorts for a few games now. Recharge and get ready for the first round. |

| What is Taurasi’s prognosis? You would think they would want her to get at least some burn before a single elimination game if it was possible. Starting to worry.

Sandy said that DT was not playing until the Playoffs and that was before Phoenix played against Seattle. I am assuming that its really for rest.

Meh. My issue with Sandy has never been when she coaches smartly. It's when the other coach makes the adjustments and she and the team do not.
Prime example, starting Skylar on Jewel the other night when Shey is the better defender. Not giving Bria more minutes when she helps get Skylar off the ball and stops the traps.
If it works than cool but Pam said that BG will likely not play in the 2nd half so use her while you have her out there.

I would argue the fact that Phoenix is shooting 52 percent from three-point range, on almost twenty attempts, suggests that they are using Griner correctly, in this game.

Look, I'm the last person on this message board who's going to criticize a fan, wanting to see a good kaiju go to work. I mean, Griner doesn't bring it out of me like that, but I can respect the fandom. Just pointing out that Phoenix appears to be successfully exploiting a flaw in the way Laimbeer is defending Mothra, and it's paying off from long range..
