Of the dearly departed, who was your team? Which team did you move on to? Talk about your loss.

I grew up in Orlando and had a passing interest in the Miracle when they launched but I wasn't too invested in the league then. I recently bought a Miracle jersey just to have one (the fit is God awful).

I wonder if any of these teams would ever be revived but it seems unlikely.

I love defense, especially stifling defense that won't give you a chance to think.

I love watching players who weren't properly appreciated get their chance to shine, and seeing a front office take advantage of everyone else's dumb personality clashes to build a stalwart team of their own.

I love hook shots and blocked shots.

I love rivalries.

There are family members I miss less than I miss the Miami Sol.

I was an avid ABL fan, particularly of the Columbus Quest. For some reason, all their games were broadcast to the boondocks of northern New England. I think I saw more games in their 2 1/2 seasons than I did in the first 10-15 years of the WNBA because their games were rarely televised here.
