Could one of these four teams finish 11-19 and still make the playoffs with a winning percentage of .367? (It's a terrific baseball batting average.)

Yes, but all of those 11-21 scenarios make the Mystics the #8 seed

Sorry for my arithmetic blunder. If this happens, the Mystics would finish at 11-21 with a winning percentage of .352. But they'd still be able to say they'd won more than one-third of their regular season games. Smile

Los Angeles has lost to Connecticut. The four teams allegedly fighting for the last two playoff spots have now together lost 17 games in a row. But on Saturday night the Liberty are at Dallas. Under WNBA rules, there are no ties and no double forfeits, right? Someone actually has to win the game. Smile

This thread might better be called "4 Teams Fighting for 2 Lottery Tickets."

Wow, the streak is finally over. After 17 consecutive losses by the formidable foursome of Dallas, Washington, New York, and Los Angeles, the Mystics beat Atlanta. They are hot! ONE in a row. The other three teams can't say that.
