That's wild considering their respective seasons outside of this series.

Chicago is 12-3 when Candace Parker plays at least 17 minutes, 1-9 when she doesn't. It's not hard to see who their difference maker is.

Seattle is 13-8 since Noelle Quinn took over as head coach. She's still learning the job.

And she inherited a team chock full of Olympians - now exhausted after Tokyo. New mom Breanna could not possibly keep up the pace in the Olympics. Well rested Candace and Azure are complementing the Vanderquigs nicely for the Sky. If they could get any scoring from the small forward, they'd be competing for top 4.

I wonder if Quinn will finally go a little deeper into the bench. Not that there's that much farther to go, but the fatigue is setting in at the same time she's tightened the rotation which I think could be compounding the situation.

On a night when neither KLS or Talbot can hit anything (the latter being the bigger surprise), why is Burke seeing zero minutes? She's been decent when she's out there and maybe isn't as exhausted as the Olympians. Heck, let's see a little Karlie time. Lean on Prince a little more. Run more plays through Russell and Magbegor.

Just starts to feel like when backed into a corner the answer has been "ride the big 3 + Talbot even harder" when I think we're going to start seeing diminishing returns with the compounding fatigue.

Kahleah Copper averages a team-leading 14.7 points. Confused

Katie Lou finally not starting. How much does one player have to suck before they get pulled?

Is she suffering from post-Covid? Her shot is WAY off.

What horribly telegraphed passes and other careless turnovers. What lack of defense (yes, Chicago is on fire, but these are easy and open looks).

Remind me again why we don't have even a fourth post on the roster? Rolling Eyes

Quinn is in way over her head. She has no idea what she's doing.

yeah but starting all your little guards together is also pretty stupid. They now have 4 SFs. Surely one of them is worth playing.

You might want to get your obsession with her checked out. The amount of energy you spend bitching about her is alarming.

When Diamond played more minutes she at least sometimes looked for teammates. Now when she gets the ball, it's not going anywhere except toward the basket, even if a teammate is wide open.

X_________________ Like what are we even trying to do offensively?

Also, the (lack of) defensive rebounding. 5 offensive boards for Chicago when they've only missed 14 shots? Mad Three times that's been squarely on Stewie not doing a good job boxing out.

I was equally tired of people complaining that Jackie Young was so much worse than Katie Lou on the 3x3 team. No, she wasn't. I watched the 3x3 qualifying tourney. Katie Lou couldn't hit the ocean from a boat.

I was seriously asking if she's suffering from post Covid. It took me over a year to regain stamina after I had it. We've seen other players trying to play after initial recovery and most of them did not look good.

Seattle is playing so, so poorly ITM. It's really kind of shocking. Yeah, I know they're exhausted, yaddy yaddy ya. Well then rest those exhausted ones. Play your scrubs and let the others rest. Better than playing them even more into the ground and still losing.

Good description of Chicago era Delle Donne.

Quinn did rest Bird and Stewart a few games already. Are you suggesting that the Olympians should be rested for the rest of the season?

In general Bird has looked ok. But Loyd and Stewie both look like they could use more rest...or some kind of reset. It's not just the numbers. Watch Stewie on defense. Maybe it's the new baby keeping her up all night. What do you suggest?

I must be the only person that thinks Seattle was already vastly exceeding expectations prior to the break. It’s just finally catching up to them as other teams are getting locked in.

They start Katie Lou and Russell. Top 3 was already a stretch goal.

If Geno was still at USA, he would have taken Katie Lou. #OurGirlsDeserve ALLTheMedals Swin really, truly should give that medal to Rebbekah Brunson. That flat out STUNK.
