Yep, she's looking hopeless as an outside shooter, as usual. Sad If I'm Gary Blair, I tell whoever's guarding her to stay several inches in front of her at the top of the key and sort of dare her to shoot.

I've never been impressed with Johnson inside, but she looks huge (sizewise) against this team.

Nixon's shots haven't been so magic as they were in the last game.

Her pullup midrange is so sweet...and she can get there anytime so not sure why she heaves it as often as she does.

I haven't been watching closely, but I think that I'd rather see IU play A&M than AZ.

Overall I agree with you, but one interesting storyline about a hypothetical IU/A&M match-up is that defensive specialist Bendu Yeany started her career at IU, dealt with injury, then transferred to AZ this season. She was a starter at IU and a key player on the team that one the WNIT three seasons ago and made the NCAA second round two seasons ago.

Agreed. We get reviews so often on plays that are nothing, and that was a clear flagrant, in my eyes. Certainly no play on the ball, and contact to the head.

In the WNBA draft thread, someone asked if any player had improved their stock. McDonald heard people say no and was not pleased!!
