Halftime: Iowa 43 - Indiana 38. Caitlin Clark with 19 pts and 3 assists. Hit a deep buzzer beater 3 right in Ali Patberg's face.

Clark gets better each game. It will be interesting to see if Iowa's defense can stay strong enough to pull this upset off. The only player Iowa doesn't have answer for is MacKenzie Holmes who is the only player keeping IU in this one right now, both defensively and offensively. Notable that Iowa only has 5 turnovers (same as IU). Turnovers have been their Achilles heel this year.

Indiana is having an incredible season, and it's very sad that their senior shooting guard Jaelynn Penn suffered a season ending injury. She was a very steady presence for IU, who is suffering a bit from a lack of guard depth.

Indiana controlled the paint both through Holmes and through the dribble drive. You could tell Moren told them to drive more in the second half and Iowa never had a consistent answer against it. Props to them. Moren should have made the list of top ten semifinalists for national coach of the year. She has done so much with IU in just a few years.

Side note: the offensive foul call on Caitlin Clark at the end of the 3rd quarter was bull. Indiana's a strong, physical team, but they have some dramatic guard who can flop with the best of them...
