Did anyone watch the Bryant Gumble Real Sports the other night? Turns out Asia Durr was on it and she caught covid, and now had what is called long haulers. People who have serious long term debilitating affects because of it. Asia can’t even pick up a ball. Those anti maskers are risking innocent lives and themselves. This covid is scary stuff, wear a 😷

For anyone interested, there is a good deal of discussion about Asia Durr battling Covid-19 on the New York Liberty 2021 thread. it begins on page 7 where root_thing posted a distressing video. There are comments as well through page 9.

I didn't realize that COVID-19 "long haulers" have a broader age distribution than the COVID-19 patients who require hospitalization, and can even be young, healthy and physically fit. The SARS coronavirus back in 2003 had long haulers and they took "quite a bit of time" to recover, and sometimes over a year.

Quote:
″[But] I think one of the real startling things about this is that those kind of patients, hospitalized patients or the elderly, don’t make up the majority of the patients we have been seeing,” he added. “In fact, many of the patients we are seeing are younger in age and are quite healthy and physically fit before their Covid infection. So unfortunately, it does seem like this is something anybody can come down with after their infection.”

Mayo Clinic doctor studying Covid ‘long haulers’ says it might take them a year or more to recover

Sad for Asia Durr and hoping she recovers from COVID and this long hauler status.
