We managed to have 14 games played and everyone had at least 50% correct, thanks to TCU's comeback OT win over Kansas. TCU overcame a 7 point deficit in the fourth quarter.
In the end everyone got either7 or 8 games correct. Myrtle correctly picked both Georgia (over Tennessee) and South Alabama (over Appalachian St) and Pureform correctly picked the Arizona win over Oregon, going against the other players.

ok, I guess I really do have to pick some teams. I've put it off as long as possible. Hard to get excited about this lineup
1/20 Northern Illinois
1/20 Buffalo
1/20 E Carolina
1/21 Florida St.
1/21 Boise St (hard to vote for a team that lost to Air Force)
1/21 Chattanooga
1/21 BYU
1/21 Wake Forest (oooh, this one was tough)
1/21 Ohio State (extra credit. I mean they are the underdog)
1/22 Georgia So
1/22 Arkansas Little Rock
1/23 Kansas St
1/23 New Mexico cancelled?
1/23 Texas Tech
1/23 Texas
1/23 Central Florida
1/24 Syracuse
1/24 Indiana
1/24 Mississippi
1/24 Washington St
1/24 Iowa postponed?

Week 6 has had 4 games cancelled/postponed or changed.
Northern Illinois - Ball St (NIU played Toledo per change announced Monday)
Clemson - Boston Coll (Clemson plays Florida St - announced Tuesday)
New Mexico - San Jose St (San Jose cancelled its season last week)
Rutgers - Iowa (Rutgers postponed this game yesterday)
We still have 16 games live for this week. The only unanimous selection was for Arkansas Little Rock over Texas Arlington.
And in breaking news the first game of the week just ended. Buffalo led Ohio 79-68 with 2 minutes to go. Final score Ohio 84-Buffalo 81

Oh, how painful for me! I take it as a personal affront. It must have been unfair reffing. I want to call a fraud investigation. Maybe the supreme court will do what's right here and void this result.

I've got 50 affidavits from people swearing that they saw Buffalo win the game

awesome. I think we can work together to make sure this clearly fraudulent result is rectified. ESPN is also clearly complicit. And I heard they may be running a child prostitution ring as well. [ BTW: how much do your 50 experts expect to be paid ]

If you would like I can retroactively change your pick to Buffalo.
On a separate note Buffalo was not the only team to totally collapse tonight. Kansas St led West Virginia 56-44 with just over 3 minutes to go, WVU scored the last 21 points to win going away 65-56. No wonder it is so tough to pick winners.

Cal, you have every reason to simply tell Myrtlicious that she can go stuff her ballot box. We all lost equally there, darlin'. And Georgia Pilight vouching for chicanery....no wonder GA turned blue!

Games will be posted later today for next week's games. When I looked at my initial list there were a few too many real stinkers and I decided I would look for other good teams to include. There will be games on Monday as there are finally some good, competitive games (e.g., Maryland -Ohio St and Arkansas - Georgia)

I didn't consider Ohio St at home an underdog against Michigan even though Michigan was higher ranked. Nonetheless I give you credit for picking the Buckeyes, but it won't count in the standings.
And because you have become as needy as Howee when it comes to praise, in accordance with your wishes I give you EXTRA credit.

Howz myrtle end up as the ONLY player here with a Florida State win today, when you didn't announce that game change-up til AFTER she posted her picks? (....and I see no 'edit' indicators at the bottom of her post)
I'm calling Rudy.

BECOME as needy as me? Myrtlicious taught me how to be needy. But I prefer to think of it as seeking .... encouragement! 8) |
Don't worry, she gets as much credit for Florida St as she got for Ohio St.

Half the fun is in whining and the banter, but if it is too annoying I will cease and desist.
