20-17 IND end of first

McCowan 8 pts

Gondrezick 3 pts (1-1), 2 reb, 2 ast

Vivians 1-14 from three on the season.
Tough to keep a job that way.

69-52 IND end of third

Since Reeve isn’t coaching in this game, this is looking like IND’s first win.

Oh, oh... WAS has got it down to 12 with plenty of time left.

I see Lavender is out cuz of a left foot injury. Can anyone confirm if this is indeed the same foot she had surgery on last year?

Fever is a completely different team when K. Mitchell is shooting efficiently.

Cox plays her first minutes of the season! That's nice to see. After Hatar got most of the minutes at the 5 on Friday, it's also nice to see McCowan bounce back with a really good game.

Not sure about Lavender's injury... I was at the game on Friday and I didn't see her tweak it at all. So it could be a longterm issue resurfacing, or something happened in practice yesterday?

89-77 IND final

McCowan 17 pts, 10 reb, 3 ast
Breland 17 pts, 10 reb, 5 ast

After her performances the last couple of games, Breland has cemented herself as this season’s regular starter.

I didn't watch it but as well as those nice numbers they both had noticeable high +-: Breland +27 and McC +20. Very impressive.

It is.

Sky forward Jantel Lavender will miss the season after having surgery on her left foot

Thank you!

She's signed to $175k guaranteed for the next three years... hopefully, for the Fever's sake, she'll get that foot fully healed sometime between now and then (probably not, given who signed her).

you do realize that article was last year, right? I haven't heard anything about how bad the current injury might be.

Yes. lynxmania linked that as proof that her injury from last year was her left foot, which is what her current injury is. Thus, what I wrote stands. We don’t know exactly when she’ll stop having these recurring foot issues. Makes the contract Catchings gave her that much more nonsensical.
