What incentive would she have to play in the WNBA- certainly not money. They are probably paying her not to come over especially with the added threat of Covid.

Are you trying to say she’s an anti-vaxxer, and she’s worried about the WNBA going away from the bubble? Why isn’t she worried about COVID in Europe?

April 19, 2021
Minnesota Lynx: Lexie Brown – Waivers Cleared

Waivers cleared even at $70K. Not looking good for her playing this season unless GM’s need more time to think about it.

Oh, so that's how you say "What part of your ass did you pull that out of?" in lawyer.

Interesting interview with Ivana Dojkic:
https://www.hks-cbf.hr/reprezentacije/2021/u-fokusu-ivana-dojkic-danas-u-dresu-reprezentacije-hrvatske-a-zatim-put-wnba/

Sounds like she either has a standing offer with the Liberty or they have a signed contract that they expect to submit when she is available so she may be a name to keep an eye on in the next few months. I guess Hopkins would be interested after she did well against him. Her performances were mentioned here last year. So if Germany had qualified, would Hopkins have coached them or would they have brought in somebody else for the actual tournament?

root_thing has quoted your post on the New York Liberty thread and added some highlights of Dojkic on the court. I'd love to read the interview but haven't figured out how to translate it into English. If you know how to do that, could you explain or post the translated version. Perhaps on the Liberty thread where many Liberty fans will see it? Many thanks.

Bob, do you have either Chrome or Microsoft Edge? If so, then simply switch browsers. Both offer to translate when you land on a foreign language page. If there's no pop-up, then right-click on the page to get the menu with a translation option.

THANK YOU, root_thing. I use Firefox as my browser but also have Chrome. I had no idea that it was so easy to have the translation option that Chrome offers. It was just as you said: an immediate notice of how to translate into English. Worked like a charm.

How exciting that she is in "daily contact" with Walt Hopkins. Really sounds like she wants to come as soon as she can.
