Call me when the finals happen. I feel like the new format has really hurt the semifinals. The single game eliminations are good but it almost inevitably sets up uncontested semi finals.

I'm realizing that these semis games - this game in particular - are... incredibly early in the day considering the "home" teams for both games are west coast teams. Neutral

at least they're well adjusted to East Coast time by now. It's just the fans that could be at a 'disadvantage' if they were out carousing on a Saturday night....but wait, the pandemic has taken care of that. ok, then, if they were drinking themselves silly staying up late and watching exciting tv reruns. ouch.

I and others criticize Jasmine Thomas' shooting a lot, but I love to see her prove us wrong having a game like this in a big setting. Very Happy

Jaz Thomas hitting shots in the first half is a big bag of fools gold. She'll wind up barely scoring in the second half.

Even so, if the Sun end up winning this it'll be worth it. The real question is how she'll perform in the games after this one. Her passing decisions already have left much to be desired... that could absolutely come back to haunt them if she doesn't get that together.
