I voted for the Sun in a potential trap game.

Ty Harris can’t defend a steaming pile of horse dung. Last 3 possessions and Heideman scores 8. Obvie, defense is meant to be played with 1-2 hands on the opposing player at all times. Maybe Vickie and the Wings should realize that.

Wings starters really combined for 3 points in that first quarter? 😬

Dallas looks really really terrible. But then Connecticut can do that.

It’s very easy to get by a Kuier screen. It’s like nobody is there.

Arike can shoot you into games. And shoot you out of games. Very frustrating.

With Sabally out, the Wings' three best players all play the same position. VJ's options are very limited.

Ogunbowale's streak of double digit scoring games ends at 65. That's the 5th longest in league history.

Kuier scored more fantasy points than JJones with 6 less minutes.

Nobody could win with this roster. Ogunbowale, Gray, and Mabrey are all shooting guards. Sabally is out. Collier is very raw. The rest are scrubs.

Kuier was very impressive tonight: 10 pts (2-4 3pt), 8 boards, 5 blocks in 20 minutes. Yes, it was mostly against the CT bench, but it's not like everyone puts up numbers like that against the Sun reserves. A while back, I seem to remember them outplaying the NY starters. Anyway, you can see that Awak is doing this solely based on instinct and athleticism. She just turned 20 last month. Wait until Kuier actually knows what she's doing. I believe she will be the best player to come out of this draft.

Awak needs serious strength training. That should've been worked on during all her DNPs. But, she had a decent game overall.

Aight Dungee - let em know!

Somebody done told Reagan Peably wrong - Arike plays for her record - not to win bb (or team) games.

Raegan Pebley made an interesting observation. She said Kuier reminds her of DeWanna Bonner. In that case, Awak shouldn't bulk up to be a conventional post-player. That could detract from her quickness. Instead, Kuier should improve her perimeter skills like ballhandling and defensive footwork so that she can function as a hybrid 3/4. Sabally is better at PF, so converting Kuier to SF would make sense if you want to play them together. Then, you use Collier, Alarie, or maybe draft Austin in 2022 to play center. There's your future frontcourt. Or keep Gray at SF, and use Kuier as a 6th Woman like Bonner was in Phoenix for so many years.

Her observation is on point. When I say gain muscle I don't want her to become Arnold. Even though Bonner is skinner she's not treated like a rag doll by anyone in this league. Awak is young - I can wait.

Oh yeah - I'd die if they got Austin next yr

Wings need the veteran leadership that the Sun have in spades. That's the starting point. Disperse the pointless collection of 1RPs. Get vets, period.
