Reeve proving she is the worst coach in the WNBA and the COY Award was a joke by getting destroyed in the playoffs once again. Even the New York Liberty would be more competitive if they were playing this game and not the Lynx. |
Good call! |
Death. Taxes. And @SpaceJunkie being wrong, about literally everything.

I just don't understand why Skylar didn't kick it back to D when she drew the second defender.

Dee was nowhere near ready to get the ball, it would have been a turnover. |
Well.... It was a turnover either way. Hell, she should've taken the shot then.

I think I would feel better if this was a blowout.
Diana showed why folks call her the goat. Unfortunately, SDS counteracted her performance everytime she touched the ball. Hopefully Diana decides to come back next year and is healthy otherwise, this team is going to be...interesting.
All that aside, I think that this team overachieved and I'm happy that they got this far.

Great team game! Congratulations to Minnesota and to Cheryl and Crystal for COY and ROY, respectively!

Feel bad for Skyler. Was rooting against Phoenix but wanted the last shot to go in for her.

The crazy wubble schedule has certainly proven that she could still handle tournament play, especially since Team USA relies a lot less on her for big minutes than her WNBA team does.
Same goes for McCoughtry, and Park... uhh I mean no one else.

Two good things today:
There will be significant rain in the Seattle area. I will be able to open my windows!
Diana "Technical Foul" Taurasi is gone for the WNBA season. No more of that obnoxious attitude, no more of that snarling face. ESPN will have to show us other players, not just DT.

It's ironic that the TWO BIGGEST CRYBABIES in Women's basketball history both NEEDED HANKIES last night.
And neither pouter (Candace or Diana) had the courtesy to congratulate the winning team on the floor immediately after the game or... at least to help dry up the wet floor from their tears.
Thank God for players like Maya Moore, Napheesa Collier, A'ja Wilson, Tamika Catchings, Becky Hammon, and the 99.5% of other players who have been and are today quality role models positively setting the proper basketball etiquette for our youth and our country when playing abroad.

So, Candace Parker dapping up Bonner on camera was a figment of my imagination?
