RIP Mrs. Irene Pollin. Mrs Pollin was instrumental in encouraging her husband Abe Pollin to acquire the WNBA Mystics franchise for Washington, DC

While it's fitting to honor this important and accomplished woman it's too bad that the thread title describes her as the widow of her husband. As if that were the most important fact of her life.

Rest in Power, first of all.

At the risk of belittling Mrs. Irene's accomplishments further (I kid! I kid!), she left NBA draft lottery fans with what has to be the most indelible reaction of all time.
