Baltimore Police sergeant arrested, accused of extortion and kidnapping contractor while on duty

Baltimore Police Sgt. James Lloyd, is alleged to have driven a contractor to this Navy Federal Credit Union in Glen Burnie and to get a certified check for a refund.

Lloyd drove the contractor to a bank, and had him withdraw a cashier’s check for $3,500 while holding onto the man’s driver’s license, county police said. The man said he told Lloyd he didn’t want any problems, and that Lloyd allegedly responded: “Problem would be if I take you in the woods.”

Not sure why this one hasn't gotten more publicity, but a Portland protestor was shot in the head with impact ammunition by fed police. He was simply standing across the street from the police holding up a speaker. He suffered major head injuries/bleeding which required surgery. Don't know if he's white or black or red or purple but regardless of race, this is a horrific (and stupid) police violence occurrence:
