New allegations from Toler in this exclusive interview include that Simmons refused to provide the same 2017 WNBA championship rings to the office and coaching staff as were given to the players, even though this was organizational tradition.

I guess i’m confused why they would be giving out 2107 WNBA championship rings? They “won” in 2016 so why give out rings for 2017?

I took it to mean the championship rings they gave out in 2017.

So now we find out that Brian was fired .... very, very, quietly.

Las Sparks could have derived some major value by trading Candace while effectively leaving workaholics, Nneka and Chelsea, as the defacto team leaders. Candace is a very special talent when she is interested and focused, but that has been becoming increasingly more rare as time moves on.

It seemed obvous for some time now that Parker had too much clout on the team. It certainly made it easier for her to get away with her decreasing lack of effort and not be afraid of being traded. This is to the point where she is more dead weight than she is an asset. Now we know why.

I guess I have to take back all of the bad things I said about Toler not making an effort to trade Parker when she still had some real value. Still think LA should have made a change at GM long ago. For the Jellybean Bryant hire alone.

I'm disturbed by the Agler allegations. How could the W leave themselves open to a harrassment suit, by not investigating?

What a lot of crap. It's big news when an office romance makes everyone else's job harder? If every disgruntled employee sued for that, the courts would be clogged until eternity. The ring thing is ludicrous. Unless the contract says "same ring," tradition means squat. And what did her contract say about termination and severance pay?

The two most disturbing things here are Agler's "sexual misconduct," about which zero information is provided and maybe it was investigated by the W, and the whole potato-patato n-word thing. Having two players saying an -a is OK, but -er is not, is not a clear and acceptable standard for any organization, particularly in the current atmosphere. (Google the recent murder in Indianapolis which was incited by the use of that word.) Either the word is OK or it's not, and it doesn't matter who says it.
