Hill would not have survived the May 27th cut down to 12 players. Besides, if New York wants her Tayler is still sitting out there.

Hill is an option, but she would have to want to come into the bubble. She's already getting paid 90k to not play, so I doubt she'd agree to play now.

Maybe it’s forgivable under the circumstances, but the optics aren’t very good if you’re telling a player she’s not good enough and paying her $90K not to play, and then you end up bringing back for another $68K. I doubt Kolb would want to go through those optics.

I know she was delayed due to her recurring symptoms. Thanks!

Also, apparently Glory Johnson & Kalani Brown did arrive to the bubble, but are under quarantine orders.

How does the old quote go keep hope alive. Hope is the key word for every player that opted out this season because of Covid-19. They hope that a vaccine will be discovered soon and next season everything will return to normal. It might take years before a vaccine is found. So many might need to consider retirement if they are afraid of Covid-19.

You’re right, especially if people are hoping for a vaccine. History indicates that getting one soon is a long-shot despite all the optimistic news we hear in the press. And even after one is developed, we don’t know if it will work for everybody or if sufficient supplies can be produced in a timely fashion.
On the other hand, many countries have handled the pandemic better than the US. This may give people hope that they’ll be safer playing overseas. Also, if they have to choose between the WNBA and a foreign league, most players earn more money overseas. Of course, that assumes there will be overseas basketball this year, which is a whole different conversation. If nothing else, the WNBA will hopefully find a safer place than Florida next season. In terms of medical progress, researchers continue to uncover existing drugs that seem to have effectiveness against COVID-19. The NY Times did a nice status review today. A year from now, we should have even more treatments. Just as important, the medical community will have a lot more knowledge about how to handle patients based on experience. COVID-19 appears to be very stage-sensitive. Doing the right things at the right time makes a big difference.
In the end, there is a lot of uncertainty about many things. People have to make assumptions and decide which kind of risk they want to take because there will be risk either way. As Sue Bird says, there are no wrong answers.

Though the main question mark is about C. Williams' status. There's the following players under quarantine but not in the bubble: Lauren Cox, Erica Wheeler, Sydney Colson, Meghan Walker & Briann January. Sugar Rodgers isn't in the bubble yet due to personal reasons. Kalani Brown & Glory Johnson are there but under quarantine protocol.

I just realised that Holly Rowe is pretty brave to enter the wubble and keep on working with her health issues. I dont know when her last treatment was but i know it wasnt all smooth sailing.

Rowe lives 30 min from the bubble, so you could argue she’s safer inside the bubble with all the precautions they take and testing they get.
