I feel so much more relaxed after Butler lost. 9th place MU you know what 😀. Marquette will finish alone in 2nd. Now go prove me wrong and get the upset today 😀

Hot start for Marquette forces an early DePaul timeout - MU leads 15-4 with 5:51 to go in the first quarter.

Go Marquette!!!

And now they’re back to being a turnover machine and trying to blow the game Sad.

That's exactly what's killing them right now. Oof, I don't know if they will be able to hold on.

Huge win for Marquette over DePaul, 90-83. The Golden Eagles finish 2nd in the BE after losing 80% of their scoring (and head coach) at the end of last season. What a job Duffy has done.

With 7 seconds to go and the 7 point lead I was still nervous they weren’t going to be able to get the ball in and were going to blow it.

What a day - one point from being picked 10th and last in the preseason coaches poll to finishing alone in 2nd. So happy for seniors Izzy Spingola and Altia Anderson who didn’t get to play a whole lot their first 3 seasons at MU but didn’t complain and played huge roles this year.

If Duffy doesn’t win BE COY, it will be a travesty.

That game was exhausting for this fan 😂.

Can’t wait to watch the game via my DVR later.

I would think this hurts UConn because DePaul was UConn‘s best win of the season.

Thanks - I'm still feeling pretty excited about the game right now Smile. I pretty much thought they had no shot at this upset and they almost proved me right but pulled it out of course Laughing .

While I was ticked about the 9th place pick in the preseason poll (incredibly mad about getting picked behind Xavier who finished 3-26 overall), I never ever expected a season like this one - still in a bit of shock that they have 20+ wins and finished 2nd in the Big East. Marquette made a great hire with Megan Duffy.
