The New York Knicks' Marcus Morris made a derogatory remark about the Memphis Grizzlies' Jae Crowder after a recent game...

Should be noted here, for anyone who won't read the link, that Morris apologized for his terrible remarks and the Knicks made it clear that they weren't happy with what he said. It was great that Cambage and other WNBA players spoke out.

Thanks, StevenHW, for posting this. I was going to do so when this happened, but never got around to it. Morris has been having an excellent season for the Knicks and has been a leader on the team. As a Knicks fan as well as a fan of women's basketball and the Liberty, it was extremely disappointing to read his words. Which, alas, surely reflect the attitudes of many male athletes.

Morris' apology was shit. I don't think that there was a sincere word in it.
