You may have thought Azzi Fudd was the #1 ranked player in the high school class of 2021.

Think again.

According to the Naismith National Youth All American Report, the top ranked player player in the 2021 class is Chante Embry and Azzi Fudd is not even in the top 50.

This ranking and scouting service ranks classes all the way out to 2028, which is is fourth graders.

Bonus points to anyone who has heard of any of these players.

Here's Chantae:

She made her return a week or so ago with 18 pts in limited minutes. If that Kid is #1 then Azzi is God in this class.

So Azzi hasn't even had a chance to make an impact this year. Give it a rest, Glenn.

The thread isn't about Azzi Fudd. She's only example of what the topic is.

My point was that she can hardly be ranked if she hasn't played until this week, that's all. So why even bring her up?

Rankings aside, she is at least one of the top three players in the country in her class. Don't know why you needed to tell Glenn to "give it a rest." Seems like overreaction to me ...

100% BS. They have Dalayah Daniels listed as a ‘21 from Yakima. She is a ‘20 from Seattle. Objectively garbage.

Eventually, recruiting will begin with ultrasounds during the 1st trimester.

....or, even before pregnancy....with parental DNA analysis, they'll be given the odds on their kids being a star. We might laugh, but.....given the tech changes over the past decades, nothing will shock me any more.
