Low scoring first quarter, Indiana up 9-8. Rutgers D keeping it close. Shooting just 3-15, otherwise they'd be up.

Halftime : Indiana 25 - RU 23. Better second quarter for both. RU still shooting poorly at 32%. Game is more physical than anticipated. Guirantes leads RU with 13pts.

End of the third quarter. Indiana up 46-36. Unless RU can go on an offensive run in the fourth, this one's done. RU shooting 33% including 1-9 from 3.

Rutgers was able to cut it to 5 towards the end, but Indiana held on to win 66-56. RU's poor shooting early on hurt them with only Guirantes and Sanders as their offensive weapons. Curious to see what this team does throughout the rest of the season. RU's bench is really sad looking. Was hoping to have gotten more out of Maddox and Davenport this season.

Guarantes got hurt in the last minute, which really hurts Rutgers. I'm very impressed with IU. Didn't particularly want to be, but if they play like this every day they could take it all and the hell with Maryland.

Indiana looked a little soft in the post. The only game I've seen from them, but their post-game is what will hurt them against bigger teams(they were outrebounded 39-33 today). And the fact they looked poor against the likes of Wallace & Singleton tonight doesn't bode well for them. Their guard play & outside shooting played a big factor in their win today.
