welcome to the wild west.

it has begun feeling as if there's a mass shooting every day now. i don't know what the "official" definition of a mass shooting is, but this is from the gun violence archive: "A mass shooting involves four or more people injured or killed in a single event at the same time and location." whatever. close enough.

i looked for a calendar, which is the best way i could get a visual answer to my question (is there one every day?). i found one, and the answer is no, not every day, but there is one just about every two days or so.

is this just another sad state of affairs for the united states that has numbed us?
