The Zero Bowl is on!!!

Central Connecticut got crushed by FGCU, 94-60, today. So, the 0-10 CCSU Blue Devils will face the 0-11 Hartford Hawks at Hartford at 2:00 pm December 21st.

I hope Cth will post the odds for this battle of titans.

The Zero Bowl turned out to be the nail-bitingest, breathtakingist, heart-poundingest low stakes game of the season, with favored Hartford breaking Central Connecticut's winless streak by losing, 61-54. The Hawks accomplished this heroic loss even though they launched 76 field goals to the Blue Devils' 54, but missed 74% of them.

And winless head coach Morgan Valley could've still been at Arizona.

Not sure what the Non-DI wins list is, but those schools are all Division I.

They are on that list if their previous wins were against teams not in DI. Just stating who they beat to remove themselves from that list.

Beautiful alley oop with .6 seconds left in OT as Syracuse scratches Florida State off the undefeated list, 90-89.

VaTech kept it interesting throughout against NC State but the Wolfpack hang on as undefeated.

If you had the odds at the beginning of the season that these 8 would be the ones left standing at this point in time...guessing you could have made a fortune.

And it looks like UConn could last the longest!

Texas Tech probably had the weakest non conference schedule in the country. I predict they’ll go down tonight against Iowa St.

It was a pretty play, but how did the Seminoles leave the basket unprotected?

I mean, it certainly wasn't a hot take that those two teams would run into a brick wall tonight... but go off I guess lol

Yes, it was more a case of piss-poor D than a great play, imo.

Still, it was well-executed I suppose.

It was perfectly executed. The ball had to be thrown in at the perfect distance and perfect height. The off-ball picks had to be set to free the shooter (Engstler) at the perfect positions and perfect times. Engstler had to run at the perfect speed, jump at the perfect time, and catch and release in the perfect motion. And the Syracuse time keeper had to delay starting the game clock for the perfect split second.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Nah. I re-watched that several times. The .6 sec countdown doesn't start til the ball hits her hand, and she had that brief eternity to put 'er in. But ya, the other 'timing' factors on screens, etc. was spot on. Well played, Quentin. Cool
