| ...gonna be a long season for the Irish. They gotta be thinking about that top recruiting group for next year and hope this one is just a blip on the screen.

Well, Vaughn should be back around New Years. That will be a big boost.
Don't know Prohaska's medical situation.
If they hadn't lost both of them, they'd be fine, but they're down to seven scholarship players, and one of those seven is a former walkon.
A young inexperienced team loses two likely starters as the season starts. Not a good beginning.

NOT The Irish's hottest squad. But--Michigan State is far from Ms Merchant's usual standard, too....killing themselves with TOs, and ND is trying their best to keep up with 'em on that stat line!
Irish are abysmal from 3-land, and they've left 9 points wasted at the FT line. THAT'S fixable, but....definitely makes one appreciate what Muff DID accomplish with the talent she held the last 2 seasons.
