BYU fell to WSU in pullman. They really miss that Gonzalez kid. Sarah Hansom is a poor imitation of Jennifer Hansom.

Wes Moore achieved a mile stone with North Carolina State's 80 to 40 win over UNC Wilmington. It's Moores 700th career win.

Marquette moved to 3-0 today after beating Illinois State 58-41. Their 3 wins are at home against teams they should have beaten - Morgan State and St. Francis-Brooklyn were the other two wins. I think they will struggle when they come up against tougher opponents this season.

I do think they are much better than 9th in the Big East though as they were picked in the coaches' poll - don't see them finishing that low.

I agree. There’s no way Marquette is 9th in the Big East. I’d put them in the middle of the pack. You got a really good coach.

Well, it happened Friday, but no place to put it, so I'll just drop it here. JMU went to Philly and managed to beat Villanova in a a weird sort of way....two of the seniors, Smalls and Barrier, accounted for 44 of their 56 points in a 56-50 win. I have the strange feeling that they might have been nursing a grudge from 'Nova's victory over the Dukes in the WNIT a couple of years ago and had that defense figured out this time. In any case, JMU out-rebounded and out-stole the Cats which also helped.
