midway through the 1st period it's 6-4 Irish. Peoples with 2 fouls and many TO's by both teams.

16-14 Irish after 1. Brunelle looks good at the offensive end and not so good at the defensive end. Scored on a quick spin down low and then nailed her 1st 3.

I've never been so intrigued by a team. I mean, they lost 5-2,000 point scorers, two conference POY's, a conference DPOY, a host of All-America teams, the #1 pick in the draft and 3/5th of the WNBA All-Rookie team. Yikes.

I think they will follow the path of South Carolina last year, but with a better coach.

36-24 Irish at the half.

Fordham is supposed to be a pretty good defensive team but they are getting killed by not getting back on defense and by back door cuts.

Fordham out-rebounded the Irish on the strength of 10 OB's but converted none of them.

Vaughn tried to play but quickly left the floor.

2:00 left and the box score shows Fordham with 15 to's. Must be 2 for 1 night. Wink

53-49 Irish with 2 mins left

The Irsh miss 4 ft's but get the rb.

N Dame wins 60-55

Does this keep N Dame at No 16?

egad. I wouldn't think so. But I guess it depends on the alternatives. Minny should totally drop out.

I want to say it was unfair but I watched the game. Fordham was just too slow and ended up grabbing a lot. But I wouldn't trust those stats because Fordham's to's were 16 at about the half and never went up
