BTW: The rule as we discussed somewhere in the thread is that if you post a team but not the date they play, then the first game they play is the counting game.

...and I'm still trying to figure out my lineup but I know there's an early game tomorrow so better get off my duff.

Hoopmom, Pureform, and Bearman all need to post lineups soon, assuming they have games tomorrow! You don't want to get zeroes based on a technicality.

Also tbinta needs to fix hers, though if she doesn't, the first game for each player will count.

Yay! Let the games begin!

Unfortunately she's listed as a C. A C cannot be used as an F. It looks like your team is a bit short on F's. Fortunately you have a really good one in Ruthy Hebard, which you could play. Ms Lewis could be one of your U's if you'd like to replace somebody. If you don't want to play Ruthy next Monday, which is their first game, then you will need to trade one of your C's or G's for another F. Remember that our week runs from Tuesday thru Monday, so the Monday game is ok to use.

Thanks Wily Coyote for your work on the rosters. I just re-posted them to the top of the second post in our thread.

Matt, a little glitch I think easy to fix.
The ESPN box, which is what I'm using, has a slightly different format than what we used two years ago. I'm assuming I/you can just insert columns to make it fit, but I'm not familiar enough with the google sheets to do that without asking. I don't want to mess up your formulae. You can see what I mean under Lynx' tab when I put in Kaila Charles' numbers.

Ok, I made a mistake in posting my lineup in that ISU's Kristin Scott's first game is on the 7th instead of today. Sorry, I was half asleep last night. Will I be forgiven and allowed to play her on the 7th since she doesn't play today?

I'm starting to realize this game is going to require a lot of attention. Anyway I'm thinking that maybe when we post lineups we also put down the opponent, then it's clear if a mistake is made. Any comments?

Did ESPN change the format or were we using a different source before?

It looks relatively close but I will have to change it for everyone's sheet so probably hold off inputting any scores until then. Can you post the link to the boxscore so I can make sure all the columns are mapped correctly?

I have all the opponents listed on my own spreadsheet for my own sanity so happy to post them if it helps.

This is the Maryland box on ESPN:

https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=401177277

I think I used ESPN in the game two years ago so yeah, I'm guessing they made changes. At one time I used scores from Yahoo but they got less consistent so that's why I went to ESPN.

Thanks. Yeah, we're kind of at their mercy. Hopefully, they are at least consistent through the season and anyone else who helps with the scores input can use the same source.

I updated Lynx - I think everything is pointing to the right spot now, but please double check. Working on the other players too and will let you know when ready...

ETA...everyone's tab should be updated now. You can resume putting results in and let me know if you see anything else that doesn't look right...

Ah, if you’ve updated it you should be good. Just an FYI that you used Hosted Stats 2 years ago for this game and that’s what the sheet was set up for.

ok, I know you should know Very Happy Is hosted Stats still around? I just don't remember and don't seem to have them bookmarked. Two years ago was waaay too long ago for my aged mind.

ESPN used to not have every box score outside of the majors. I recall that we used to think that these were more reliable. I’ve seen a few games without live boxscores on ESPN so it remains to be seen if they’ll have them post game.

Can we use different stats? I can host my own site and make my players remember how to shoot....

Howard started 1-6, Alaire was 0-4, Nelson was 5-14, and erm. That’s a great start to the week.
