Great, just when I was in a positive mood finally, I have to deal with the Lynx getting destroyed by N.H. for 3 straight games. Put in Ezi instead and let the Lynx get swept mercifullly. Very Happy I wanted to get swept by the Aces instead. Smile

The Storm have never lost a semi-finals. Every time they made it to the semi’s they went on to win a ‘ship.

All depends on Fowles IMO

Fowles is listed as questionable for the game.

Cheryl and Katie will be the only Minny coaches available for the remainder of playoffs/season. No Brunson or Pearson.

Even with Fowles I don’t see Minny taking down the juggernaut of Seattle. Last season they couldn’t with her so I’m not seeing it this season.

I'm thinking a 3-1 series. Maybe Minny can win one of their 'home' games. But maybe that's just hopeful thinking. It would be more fun if it's competitive.

Today is Cheryl Reeve’s birthday. Does that change anything?

Whoa. Kind of shocking this took so long. Probably a false positive, right?

but it sounds like there were more than one. That doesn't sound good. Unless the whole testing unit went haywire.

Maybe her birthday wish was to not have to play this game today... if so, it was granted. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

so what happens if they are really positive?
Finals totally cancelled?
Seattle forfeits and the winner of this series plays Minn?

Seattle hasn't played anybody for a week so at least there shouldn't have been exposure between teams...assuming that even in the bubble everybody is doing face masks and proper social distancing.

Bummer, I was looking forward to the game, and sweeping the Lynx, let’s hope for a 5 game series from the Aces and Sun.

seems strange... during the regular season if there was a false positive the teams still played... it has to be multiple players for the game to be postponed.

If i remember correctly if there was an inconclusive result that player would be tested again and went in quarantaine in her room untill she had 2 negative test results

Who's the person that jinxed this series by posting a congrats to the WNBA for making it through the season in the wubble without a COVID issue just a few days ago? It's in another thread somewhere.

My understanding is that the player needs two negative tests, so they won't play until Tues at the earliest.

What happens if someone is positive? The rest of the team would have to be tested per CDC guidelines, so I'd think the whole team, coaches, etc would be tested and put in isolation now rather than wait.
