She's 71 years young. Perhaps time to hang up the high heels and ride gently into the sunset.

The worst thing. If one accepts the premise that the coach is the top reason players sign with a team then you face a situation where the players who signed to play for the HOF coach are now playing for her replacement while the coach they want is in the stands watching. If nothing else it undermines the new HC's postion as the leader of the team.

Interesting. Is that an official declaration? Didn't Pat get that title when it was apparent she simply could no longer carry out all her duties? Obviously (I hope?) CViv's health is not that precarious, but ya....why can't she just retire? Shocked

Where is it said that Stringer is, or will be called, coach emeritus?

No one said that. I posed a question, hence the question mark.

Okay, thanks, I focused on the quotation marks and got confused.

Hmmm. Apparently, CViv claims she was ".....beat up"

Well, THAT explains a lot! Shocked

C Viv is nominated for Legends of Coaching award, joining 3 other legends (Muff, Tara, and Pat).

Kudos to her. Cool
