I'll admit it, I am shell-shocked right now. I didn't think that Connecticut could beat Los Angeles, and I would have bet good money that the Sun wouldn't beat the Sparks. Call it a combination of, I still consider Connecticut to be overrated as hell, and I did not expect LA to come out and be this gutless. It's like, after the first half of Game 1, they didn't even bother to compete.

Pretty much the only Spark that showed up was Nneka. But whoever figured it was ok to play a critical game at this venue needs to be fired.

Didn't that already happen, with the Knicks?

I wouldn't blame it on him. The team just didn't show up. These are pros. They have to want it more.

There were all sorts of "they didn't have the talent" excuses. The Sparks have talent aplenty.

I don't think Curt Miller is all that, but he's run rings around Fisher this series

True, but when you don't show up for 3 games in a row, something else must be up Confused

Agreed, Nneka was the only starter that seemed to be interested in playing beyond today. That simply can’t happen.

Congrats to the rising Sun for stepping it up in three big games to sweep my Ladies!

The Sparks have an interesting stable of athletes. However, Fish must has to identify player tendencies better yo utilize his roster to the max. Hopefully, he will not have to deal with another injury-riddled season like this one has been.

It was weird how little Parker played. I wonder what's going on with her, or that team in general to give up so readily. Hmm... Rolling Eyes

But congrats to the Connecticut Sun, and I must also give credit to whoever called them a team of role players.

They played with a fire I have not seen from them. Twisted Evil

I'm going to find it hilarious if the Dream's cast-offs win a ring before they do.

The Sun winning means there will be a UConn player in the finals for the 17th straight year

Congratulations to the Sun by I'm rooting for their former head coach to finally get that ring.

I wonder if Gray has a residual 'thing' about JT from college. I think JT was a senior when Gray was a Freshman. She just looked in this series like she was pressing and making bad decisions along with bad shots...things she didn't do all season. And I still have to think Parker is injured in some way. Chiney was maybe over-rated? Or just her tv gig has taken more of her energy and focus so basketball just isn't at the top of her priorities anymore. Not sure what happened to the Vadeeva we saw in the first game of the year. Did she just lose her confidence? Or what? Or was that first game a fluke? And I would have liked to see a bit more Brown from time to time. The Sparks lack of depth at guard got badly exposed here.

C. Williams is a special player and adds so much to the Sun in a different dimension than any other player. A. Thomas the bulldozer - she forces the ref to make calls and how much she contributes depends quite a bit on how they call the game. But for a player with so many limitations, she's pretty amazing. She's the epitome of 'where there's a will, there's a way'

Congrats to the Sun. Happy to say I get to make a trip to see my first WNBA Finals game in person. Just a matter of who they play and when I go.

The league? Someone at ESPN? The playoff TV schedules are done way in advance. if the league & ESPN cared, the game could have been moved to Monday night. But then if the Sparks won, we'd be forced into a back-to-back. Tough position when college football runs the gambit on Saturdays & NFL does on Sundays.

Parker wasn't at the post-game press conference. Twitter is swirling with various reasons why, so search away.
