Now how many people saw that coming? Be honest. LOL.

I sure as heck did not see that coming. In fact I thought the game was over when the Sky got the ball so I took the dog out. Imagine my surprise when I got back in and noticed that the Aces had won!!

Can’t even laugh right now. Give me a month or two.

Some losses never leave you. Every Packers fan is still in pain after the loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game. Crying or Very sad

the line is out of bound. inbound is the 'wood' colored area. however, that picture is inconclusive.

that picture is so far away there's no way to tell anything from it.

I blew it up like 500% and it looks like it might actually be in. It looked like there was some floor showing at the side of her shoe where her big toe goes to her little toe.

In fairness, there are multiple sports where the line itself is 'inbounds' and either the player or the projectile has to be entirely beyond the line to be out of bounds.

How many of those sports involve the athlete touching the projectile with their bare hands?

Handball and volleyball both work that way.

I don't think that photo is anywhere near clear enough without extensive editing, which wouldn't be available during the game, for the refs to justify reversing their original decision.

Volleyball, softball and baseball are the ones that came to me that the line is in.

Just a question of why that wasn't a reviewable play? Sky players & coach Wade aren't happy right now.

Sorry, just don't care for the one and out. Sooner or later, if you want to be taken seriously, you have to play against/during the big boys. (Pennant races, college and professional football.) Please don't treat this league like college basketball. That said, it was a shame to see the Sky eliminated this way. A two or three game series would be more thrilling than a single shot.

As I understand it, you have to review a call. This was a non-call. So there was nothing to review.

Ditto. Diamond with vintage Tina Thompson mouth drop after the shot fell.

I and beyond thrilled that finally a game that is considered a classic is a game that doesn't involve the Minnesota team losing at the buzzer! Smile

the wnba would never admit that they are wrong. they know all too well that single game elimination is bs. but to continuously lies about it and goes on with the bs is a fucking bs.

wnba has no credibility, run by a bunch of amateurs.

What a game. Glad I watched it before I was spoiled.

That said... Cambage's trade force is going to pay off for her, isn't it? Ugh, I guess it'd fit the era we're in.

Looks to me like her feet were out. My point was that a video clearly showing that would have to be available to the officials. That video was copied from a WNBA tweet, and it wasn't shown during the game, so I don't know where it came from, but possibly not ESPN, which is the source that AFAIK is available during the game.

Curiously, why would the WNBA tweet a video showing a single elim playoff game was won due to an egregious officiating error?

The call was the signal to count the basket, so I think this could have been reviewed.
