Have they announced their broadcast partner yet? Maybe they are doing a deal like the Fever and streaming games on an app. Or maybe a uniform sponsor.

Basically the Wings' group bought a team in the National Lacrosse League. Team will begin play in the 2021-2022 season.

Looks like Harrison and KLS are both in boots, but I’m not sure how serious it is.

Both might be out for Sunday's game. Starters should be Jefferson-Ogunbowale-Thornton-Sabally-Ndour. Gustafson should see significant minutes.

The NLL team will play at Dickies Arena. Very new arena and holds 13,500. The Wings' contract with College Park ends at the end of this year, so I wonder if the Wings will move to Dickies Arena for 2021?

https://wings.wnba.com/roster/

I noticed at least a couple changes on here to the listed positions of some players that didn't seem based in error. The biggest one was Alarie being changed from a G-F to a C-F. Gustafson went from F to C. Samuelson went from G-F to just F. And I'm not positive but I think Harrison went from C to F. Maybe one or two others I didn't notice either. Is it a sign of how Agler's playing them? Perhaps.

No matter what, I'm not counting out these Wings with Agler's ability to coach - it's not saying much, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them make the playoffs.

I think we have a good shot to make the playoffs as well with talent level drop of a lot of other teams. Our cancer this season will be downlow as usual. We will get pounded on the glass against bigger teams.

If they move to Ft. Worth they would have to change the name of the team altogether, 911....if you are local you know what I'm saying, if not, just trust me on this one, so I don't see them leaving the CPC anytime soon!!!

Wings Coach Brian Agler Doing His Part to Continue Social Justice Conversation
One Black-owned business at a time
Dorothy Gentry (The Next: 24/7/365 women's basketball coverage)
August 4, 2020

Dallas Wings coach Brian Agler has taken a personal commitment to support social justice initiatives. Since arriving in the wubble, Alger has used every game day to highlight a Black-owned business in the Forth-Worth area.

“I was trying to think of something and some of my associates thought about this idea and that it might be a way to just highlight some Black-owned businesses,” Alger said. “Hopefully when I get back there I can frequent these companies and these businesses and try to get more visibility for them and the families who own these businesses. That’s what this is all about. Support the community.”

Jefferson needs surgery and will be out for the rest of the season.

With Mabrey stepping up big like she has and Harris looking competent, it might be tempting for Dallas to just waive Jefferson. Trouble is she’s signed to a fairly rich three year guaranteed contract. Jefferson might turn out like Christmas did for Reeve, high hopes but continuous injuries dashing those hopes and putting a crimp in future roster planning.
