Zune69 loves Copper from the Sky. Here is a trade proposal. Chicago signs Copper and then trade her and their 2020 and 2021 first round draft picks for Dallas 2020 first round pick. Wink Deal?

Where is love homie? Copper thought that you and her were tight. She was ready to look good just for you. Just joking, zune69! Laughing
The above trade proposal was an example of what some of your trade proposals look like from a different perspective. Cool

Very Happy

In terms of player for player value, some of my trades are lopsided. But that's because I'm more concerned with teams getting what they need rather than who wins the trade based on raw asset value...For example....P.Toler is more concerned with winning trades based on how much talent she gets back rather than given up the necessary assets to get players that are going to make her team a title contender (Cambage).....The same can be said for a GM like Danny Ainge. If you hold on to assets too long you run the risk of those assets losing value.

PG: SDS/Jefferson/BMW
SG: Ogunbowale/Gray/Hill
SF: Stevens/Thornton/Davis
PF: Cox*/Johnson/Gustafson
C: Harrison/Anigwe/IMS

9th, 15th, and 21st Picks

*Assuming she’ll be the 2nd Pick

I still can't get over how many odds-and-ends pieces this team has. Looking at the roster like this, is keeping the 12 best players all they have to do? Or should they make a deal or two for further upgrades?

Like several other teams they need a true big big to compete with the increasing number of big bigs in the league. Plus the big bigs are bulkier than ever so harder to manhandle. 6'4" is no longer 'big'.

6'4 is the average height of the starting centers in the finals

why did I know it would be you to say this? Laughing Sanders is an anomaly. And she plays with two other players taller than her who can help her out. Even so, I think if Vegas used their big lunk more efficiently, Vegas would have/should have beaten them...because of said big lunk. This may be Washington's year, but I don't think that's an indicator that it's ok to have a 6'2" center into the future.

Is it possible she's referencing something/someone else? Is there some big sports drama going on in like the NFL or NBA that it could apply to?

Otherwise, yeah, maybe we all gotta overreact and think up some trade scenarios now Laughing A healthy Jefferson can be their starting PG after all!

Also, 09 if you're listening... anything you can tell us? Wink

She’s a part of numerous organizations, but assuming she means Dallas, I’ve been pointing out they no longer need her since the Jefferson trade and the drafting of Ogunbowale. Should have seen that coming a mile away.

Even healthy, Jefferson is a big downgrade if she comes back

Apparently Skylar's IG and the Wings' IG have unfollowed each other Shocked Maybe this falling out is for real. They still have several months to patch things up, but her tweet seems pretty damning...

Is it me, or has it been discussed before on here that this Wings organization isn't the greatest to, or isn't the most respected by, its players?

I mean ... Cambage didn't exactly hide her feelings about the Wings, but I was never sure how much real weight that carried. It sure looks more real if Skylar is saying the same things.
I like some drama but not this kind.

I will say this. We may not be the biggest most impressive first class organization out there , but it’s improving. Now is the best time if any to make a move while the future still looks bright. I love diggy personally however this does not surprise me. She supported cabbages thoughts and feelings last season to an unknown extent to the public. She’s not irreplaceable honestly I’d take Arike #2 and possibly #1 if NY fans are still interested? Laughing I do think people are jumping to conclusions about wanting out , but I’m actually for it. We need to move on and focus around a solid core of Arike & Lauren with maybe Sabrina as well.

Arike had a much better rookie year than Skylar did so she may be the better long term player. Certainly she has room to improve while Diggins (now 29) is probably as good as she is going to get and start to decline. So yeah - looks like trading Diggins now would be a good move. Not sure NY would be smart to make that deal, however. Dallas needs to fix whatever it is that keeps players from wanting to stay there or they will be in perpetual rebuild mode.

Reason #21 why I'm done with this league..."Players making vague comments on Social Media"....This could be a contract dispute. Diggins is a FA and is more than likely looking for a long term max deal. Dallas should do their best to re-sign Diggins. But if she really wants out, the sign & trade that makes the most sense to me is...Diggins for Vivians, Wheeler & the #3 pk

Indiana has a surplus at the wing positions and could use an elite pg. Skylar could return home and be the face of the franchise. Dallas gets a lottery pk, a young starting SF and a solid pg........There's no way in hell the Liberty are giving up Ionescu for Diggins.

I agree on the vague social media comments.

Don't really see why Dallas wouldn't have wanted to sign her to long term extension, but I don't think they can now until FA starts. Maybe they are worried she is more committed to having babies than playing basketball.

Utter nonsense. Can't sign anything at the moment anyway, and wouldn't want to until she knows what the numbers and new provisions are in a new CBA.

They can still negotiate right?....why would they unfollow each other on IG?
