The announcers are so busy gabbing between themselves that they never noticed Charles got hit in the face and had to come out of the game. They still haven't mentioned it.

Liberty with a poor third quarter. No defense at all.

Atlanta’s all but locked into the worst odds to get the #1 pick cuz of how last year went, so I wouldn’t see why they’d try to tank. Libs tho doing what has to be done Very Happy

Dream had 3-9 Bentley in until the last minute or so, while 7-14 Sykes was on the bench. So it evens out. Even the Dream can't lose every game.

Nurse had one shot after the 1st Quarter, and it was an attempt at a 60-footer at the buzzer before halftime. No shots in the 3rd, and Nurse didn't set foot on the court in the 4th Quarter.

I don't usually complain about the refs, and I don't mind the Liberty losing since we're in tank mode, but those two calls at the end were awful. I just looked at them again. The foul against Boyd really should have gone against Billings, who is clearly holding back Brittany:

I was going to post a picture of the second foul, but there was nothing to show. I don't know what in that sequence constituted a foul. It was a total phantom call. Given that it was in open space with very little going on, that may be the worst foul call I've seen in 55 years of watching basketball. Laughing

The refs all year has been atrocious against the liberty, I don't like to blame refs but it's the truth.

And that Hartley call against Bentley was so weak, but the Nurse thing really irks me cuz she was just about to breakout of the slump and you don't even play her...very frustrating to watch this train wreck I just want it to stop

That offensive foul on Hartley. Mystifying. Usually only the most obvious of fouls will be called that late, especially if it changes possession. If winning this game was meaningful I’d have been upset.

Otherwise Libs back to their usual ways on defense. Unlike against Indy where I thought they played well, I thought last night’s early lead was mostly a result of Atlanta’s D letting them get whatever they wanted. The loss just about mathematically eliminates them from the playoffs.

New York's magic number for elimination is 1 versus Minnesota and 3 against Phoenix. It should all be over when the Mercury come to town on Tuesday.

Last year, once mathematically eliminated, they started giving younger players more opportunity. I’d think that Han would enter the rotation at that point. I felt like she’s improved some anyway in the little we’ve seen. May as well let her play now.

I was at the game last night and was shocked by this:

Did anyone else notice that the clock froze at 11.3 seconds left in the 4th quarter?! Play continued for a good 4 seconds before Hartley had the ball knocked out of bounds. Had Rebecca Allen actually made that 3 at the end, and this footage had been reviewed, Atlanta would have had quite a bit to grip about given the game should've been over by that point...

This was my first game in Westchester this season. Weird crowd. The size of the venue gives the individual "fan" way too much power to shout whatever they want and be heard, like the man who shouted "You suck!" after Reshanda Gray missed a free throw. C'mon dude. Gray's missed free throws were the least of our problems.

I didn't time it, but you are right - definitely the clock froze for a few seconds. Seems like someone on the Atlanta bench was sleeping on that one.
