Granted, this includes an arena -- so say the Utah Jazz are worth "just" $1 billion.

That's why NBA players are paid so much more than WNBA players, and given the WNBA franchise values, what's really surprising is that WNBA players earn as much as they do.

This misrepresentation is exhausting. No one has ever seriously suggested W players make the same as MNBA players. Ever. I'm sure anyone, in any profession, would love to be paid that amount of money, but that's not what the Wnba players have ever asked for.

Congrats to the former owners of the Jazz for their return on investment, though.

If David Stern was still the NBA President, he most likely would've leaned on the new owner (Ryan Smith) into starting up another WNBA franchise, like bringing back the Utah Starzz! Hey, just wishful thinking!
