Williams is out (personal). Breland is questionable (flu). Dream are going to short-handed inside tonight.

Breland starting. Gulich gets the start at center and has 5 early points.

Collen getting some results by actually spreading out extended minutes to her bench, and limiting Bentley’s.

Nikki Collen just said in their post game conference that Angel has not been cleared to play and doesn't think she'll be a ready by September 8.

It’s a big “if” looking at their remaining schedule, but if Chicago can make it to 20, even 19 wins, Wade should absolutely get COY.
I do see Chicago still not winning as many games in 2020, I think there will be more teams better than them unless they somehow find more defensive consistency. To help with that, I’d still like to see Vandersloot-DeShields-Williams starting at the 1-2-3 with Quigley off the bench but I doubt it happens anytime soon. I do understand why Quigley starts, but it puts a lot more pressure on DeShields on both sides of the ball since Quigley can’t really create her own shot.

Says something about the level of communication between Angel, the coaching staff, the front office and the owners.......

Just another WNBA game -- but it shows just how tough this league is.
Katie Lou Samuelson and Gabby Williams, collegiate superstars (or at least billed that way), struggle for minutes.
Maite Cazorla surprises at the start of the season, but teams have clearly adjusted, and she's slumped lately (though maybe it's fatigue).
And players like Astou Ndour have to work hard to find a spot, despite their athleticism.

Wasn’t that hard. Just had to wait for an injury to occur in an already thin (Cambage might debate me on that) front court.

We were there. The number is believable. One of our neighbors mentioned it "as a nice crowd." It was "Women of Inspiration" night which probably stimulated attendance.
