I wonder if Wilson will be okay to play by Saturday? She's out for today's Aces game. I'd say let Hamby replace her. As for Loyd, I'd have Cloud replace her.

Collier was so screwed over, seeing as the fans wanted her in. She better be first in line for replacements.

Loyd is back playing.

Laimbeer said A'ja's injury is not a big deal, if we're to put trust in what comes out of his mouth, so I hope she's back soon and we don't have to deal with any of that.

When did he say that, in the video I supplied? He said it was a high ankle sprain, which is “no big deal” compared to an Achilles or ACL, but I don’t exactly think it’s instant recovery.

She can still act as the captain, but they should probably substitute someone to play for her, if she’s anything less than 100%. It’s not that important of a game to risk re-injury.

Boo-yah’s all over the place!

The head coach will name the replacement for the starting position out of the reserves, so that won’t likely be Collier.

Sims was the last pick.

No open practices this year with the Skills Contest and 3-Point Contest in the afternoon.

Just felt like it was too much asking folks to stick around for 4-5 hours.

I am logging back into this site for the sole and express purpose of expressing my extreme displeasure at this decision. What the fuck else are we supposed to do in 110-degree heat, spontaneously combust?

Yeah, Las Vegas is well known for its dearth of available indoor activities Laughing

When I used to go to the All Star Games in New York, Washington, and Conn
it was such fun going to the team open practices...its a shame they wont be
having them this year.
Also a fun event was the RebKell Dinners esp the ones in NY and Washington.
It was fun matching screen names to faces ... but I guess is that a thing of
of the past also .

Hey it’s 100 here in dallas with moisture from the gulf making it sticky Asf every damn day. So 110 of dry heat I will not complain as of yet. I will dress appropriately and make the best of it. Anyone wearing pants stay away from me in all fashions! Laughing

So they've managed to get lots of the team groupings together, and the coaches back with their own stars - but the married couple of Vandersloot and Quigley get to go out there and guard each other Smile.

Awww, I was looking forward to that but I definitely hear you. I was hoping it was a part of the "fan fest" activities. Actually, I'm not quite sure what those are...Is it just the orange carpet?

Btw, thank you so much for answering and for keeping us informed! I know it will be a great time!

Same with Bonner and Dupree.

I heard some suggestions that they were no longer together (but don't follow WNBA gossip closely enough to know for sure if that was accurate). So I left them off my list.

I find it odd that Whitcomb is in the skills challenge but not the 3 point contest.
