Anyone have update on what happened to EDD during the LA game?
They were supposed to evaluate upon return to DC.

Thanks

Emma should be coming back real soon, I hope. That should ease the load.

A broken nose can be played with. Many players have done so with protective masks. It is nothing as serious as an ACL, MCL or any broken bone in the hand, arm or leg. Once the swelling goes down and the breathing is not hindered, a broken nose has little effect on an athletes ability to play the game. Don't understand why they are making such a big deal about it. It was obvious right off ot was a Broken nose.

Well if one might be suffering pain, headaches and/or concussion symptoms it can be a big deal Confused

EDD doesn’t strike me as a “battle through injury” type player, either.

Case in point: Sue Bird.

One minute I’m pivoting on D, hustling to keep up with Phoenix’s ball movement, and then, you know, BAM. (Or SPLAT, or whatever that sound would be.) I could feel the bone: out of place, cracked off to the side. I could feel the — wait, should we put a GIF here?? Like right at the top? Or is that gross. Alright, scroll past this if you don’t want to see my nose lose a fight to Breanna Stewart’s elbow.
