It looked like Liz tried to yank Kalani's hair, but her fingers just passed through... Got a flagrant for the attempt, though Twisted Evil

I tell you what, there is nothing quite like watching a point guard call her own number, and then immediately turning it over.

EDIT - Which is probably why she's back on the bench, now.

A little too late for the Aces guards to finally start to make shots

LV has 3 championship caliber starters (LV, AW, KM) and 2 championship caliber backups ( Hamby, Colson)...Everyone else is trash or still too raw (JY, JP)

I'm very disappointed in Plum. I thought she would have a breakout season. I was obviously wrong.

Cambage,Wilson,McBride and Hamby are all shooting near 50% for the season while Young,Young,Plum,Rodgers and Swords are shooting sub 35%.

I was rooting so hard for the Aces to have a 2003 Detroit type season..but maybe people are right. Maybe the league was still very young and that type of thing could be done then, but not now. They deserve to lose for the dumb a** moves made by the organization. Maybe they are sucking for the duck or whatever that saying is. Aye yi yi, smfh, scrubbing my got damn geech hard after this one!

- Barely beat SEA without Jewell Loyd... Shocked
- Lose by 12 to LA without Nneka... Exclamation
- Blown out by WAS... Idea

They don't even look good in the losses... Confused

What's going on... Arrow

I saw a lot of fouls called against the Aces and many fouls not called against the Sparks. Mayberry and several other Sparks flopped as they usually do.

The Mabrey flop was egregious. It's one thing when there's contact and you exaggerate--it's another when there's no contact at all. Mabrey made it look like she had been hit hard, when it was clear that there was nothing close to contact. That should be a technical foul if the play is reviewed.

I really think Laimbeer's gonna start shopping Plum. He's really not happy with her. This should be a championship caliber team, but when your starting guards keep coming up empty, they won't come close. I'll give Young a pass as it's her rookie season, but Plum has yet to live up to expectations.

Aces played a lot better last year with less experience. Did the off-season moves result in subtraction by addition?

He will not be able to get a quality veteran player in exchange for her. The best he could do is to get a draft pick for her. The problem is a future draft pick will not help them this season.

Before I make my statement I am not against women wearing long hairstyles. I believe that Liz is right. Players should not wear their hair untied during a game. Especially now when long hair will cover up the only number visible on a player's uniform.

Anyone who leaves their hair uncontrolled such that it is entangling other players or slapping against them should probably expect some retaliation.

The Big 3 for Vegas aren't getting enough touches/shot attempts.

Wilson-11.9 fga /28.5 mpg
Cambage-10.8 fga/22.7 mpg
McBride-10.7 fga/28.0 mpg

Last season: Wilson/McBride- 30.2 fga/ 62.9 mpg...This season- 22.6 fga/56.5 mpg......I understood that the addition of Cambage would reduce Wilson/McBride's shot attempts, but this is ridiculous.

BTW...Plum's shot attempts are up despite shooting a lower percentage Rolling Eyes

Plum:
2018- 7.3 fgs/25.5 mpg...47%/44%...4.0 apg
2019- 8.3 fga/25.0 mpg...35%/34%...2.8apg

What exactly was plum doing during the offseason?.....Plum needs to change her mindset. Distribution and Defense first, offense second. Too often I see Cambage/Wilson running the floor or posting up without getting the basketball. 5 or 6 time during last nbight's game Cambage was wide open or had great position but didn't get the basketball. You could see the frustration on her face and in her body language....At this point I would start S.Colson. She is a pass first pg, good defender and is shooting 48%/50% from the field. I think Plum would be better off as a instant offense player off the bench.
