Wings really need to consider keeping Gustafson and dumping someone. She's looked good in the few games she's played in. OTOH, McGee-Stafford has looked pretty useless this season.

And it helped for AT to miss two FTs down the stretch. I think in close games coach is going to have to bench her in the last minute or it will become 'hack an Alyss'.

Missing a wide open layup didn't help either. Neither did that fast break that the refs denied due to the Wings shot clock violation, nor that Arike heave that banked in for 3. It was not the Sun's night.
But I'm happy for those Wings fans. Their team ain't great but they have a good time in there.

Great win by the Wings...Ogunbowale balled out. She'll definitely be in the running for ROTY at the end of the season. Gustafson made 3 big buckets off the bench, she's definitely a keeper. Plaisance/Davis also had great games off the bench. Dallas' effort and iq on defense has greatly improved.....Despite missing multiple starters/4 rotation players, Dallas is competing at a high level every single night...Kudos to coach Agler....If Fred Williams was still the HC Dallas would be winless right now.

I'm enjoying this season's wings more than last season's wings. Maybe it's due to the low expectations...or maybe it's because we don't have a drama Queen on the team...And I'm not talking about Skylar Diggins.


And SMH at Connecticut's lack of production off the bench.

I agree 💯 about IMS, and it's even worse seeing unfold in person every night...she's to soft, doesn't have much stamina and makes alot of terrible passes, not to mention, refuses to use the glass instead of missing 90% of pop up shots, it's so damn frustrating to watch!!!

It was so loud when she came to the free throw line, you could clearly see she bothered by it...not sure how it looked on tv but it sure was obvious in person!

Some thoughts:

*Ogunbowale made some tough shots -- or you could call them lucky too. If she can consistently get a good bounce on the rim from forced midrange jumpers than she'll be a big-time star. If that doesn't happen every night, she might become a volume scorer who can have great games now and again.

*Gustafson looked good on the offensive end, and her work rate is exceptional. It appears, though it's hard for me to really know, that she learned from her first go-round in the league, went home and improved in the areas she needed to improve in. She looks like a keeper to me.

*The announcer kept saying "Kayla/Kaela did (whatever) ..." Did he not know there were two Kayla/Kaelas on the floor a lot of the time?

*Can Isabelle Harrison translate her athleticism into effective WNBA play despite her lack of height and bulk?

*I thought Bria Holmes would beat out Shekinna Stricklen for the starting spot by now, but for whatever reason, it isn't happening. Connecticut's good, but they need better play from the small forward spot.
