Word is that Canada has a good chance of playing tonight.

Loyd badly roller her ankle. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but I don't see her returning tonight.

Good news she was able to put pressure when helped off the court. Her ankle pretty much snapped from the replays. This is so sad.

Storm look bad tonight! Even Howard seems off. Aces don't look much better.

If Canada is getting limited minutes and Lloyd is out, Howard will suffer. It is difficult, IMO, for any center to have a great game when their perimeter players are not playing well.

This game is hard to watch. No flow for either side tonight. Bizarre reffing. As a Storm fan seeing Loyd go down is a huge bummer. And I wish Cambage had not been traded to the Aces. Can't stand the constant whining, complaining, and side eyes to the refs, it poisoned what was a fun upcoming team to watch. At least the minimalist Aces announcers are good for a chuckle.

Sami's perimeter shot was off to start the season, then it was on for 6 games, now it's back off again right when Loyd is down and it's needed Sad

Another ugly game. Neither team look like title contenders.

I'm enjoying the Howard-Cambage battle. Plenty of extracurricular activity happening between those two.
The game overall … yeah, not a classic.

Aces have gone with Hamby at the 3 most of the 4th quarter.

If I can't get a great game I'll still take a close one.

Did Dan kinda give Bill a blow by in the handshake line? He held out his hand, but I don't think he actually looked at him...

Yeah that had some suspense all the way to the end.

Saw Loyd in the huddle with a boot on. Fingers crossed it's not bad.

I've seen players return from those remarkably quickly. Some people have 'loose ligaments' either naturally or after a number of injuries, so yeah fingers crossed, because ankles ain't supposed to flex to 90 degrees, and when they do it's usually at least a few weeks on the sidelines.

Still trying to figure out how the Storm lost Loyd early, shot 30%, and still were in that in the final 30 seconds. Howard's stat line doesn't scream MVP but she was a big part of it.

Bill shot himself in the foot with Jackie Young. Could've had Collier, who's having a stellar season or he could've had Durr. He went by the looks (built, height, fit) rather than proven production. It has been proven time and time again that height and muscle doesn't equal success..there still has to be talent. One of the all time great guards in our game was only 5'6" at best (Pondexter) and she was a combo guard. Anyways, back on point, Young hasn't proven enough to be worthy as trade bait other than as the lesser side of a package and she continues to put up goose eggs. A few on this board keep saying wait for her, it'll come..but Mike Thibault said it best when he cut Tahnee Robinson years ago: you have to be ready to go in the W, there's no time to wait for someone to learn. (Paraphrased)

Loyd & Currie are in a Twitter war right now. Currie said she only saw Loyd making the lay-up and didn't see her get injured. Rolling Eyes
