Am I reading this play-by-play correctly? Griner only has two field goal attempts in the quarter, and only one was in the paint? She is the biggest and (allegedly) best player in the court, for either team. Why is she so soft?

Having Davis run the point is reminiscent of LV trying T. Young at the point. Really not a good look.

Azura has Blocked her shot 3 times tonight. Brittney Charmin Griner!

Agler's going down the same road Fred Williams did, trying to find something Davis does well.

KD is coming up big in the 4th so far. Nice way to turn it around Kaela!

So, is this what we can expect, on the regular, from the post-Taurasi Mercury?

yeah. her 2 assists with 4 TOs looks great for a PG.

Hey im not saying shes a PG at all. She hit 2 big shots in the 4th when PHX were on their run hitting 3s on about 4 straight possessions. I like when she's aggressive getting to the garden spot where she takes majority of her mid range shots.

Well,as I said before the season started...Phoenix could struggle to make the playoffs without Diana...I don't trust Bonner,Griner or Brondello.

Great job by Dallas/Agler...Despite not having Diggins/Jefferson/Harrison/Johnson they are competing hard. Don't compete too hard (Lottery pk)

Truly a terrible rebounder. When they double her, she gets the ball back out, but then never bothers to go to the basket for a rebound.

Grats to Dallas for a gritty win.

Hell, I'd be happy to see her re-post after she passes out, every once in a while. I mean, she passes out of the double team, which is the smart basketball play, but then she acts like she has fulfilled her role in the offense, on that possession.

A truly pathetic effort, Mercury.
6/37 shooting from the starting 5. How is that even possible?
I didn't get to watch the game and I'm pretty happy about that.

A terible game for PHX...Was interested how the rookies played in this game...the PHX rookies looked lost. Gusto piston is slow but give her the ball down low and she knows what do with it... Thorenton impressed me...hard nose player, very good defender and was efficient on offense

I’ve been really underwhelmed by Y. Turner this season.

Be prepared to be even more underwhelmed, as she’s headed overseas for a couple weeks.
