And some teams don't have a true back-up PG(Seattle, Washington, New York, Dallas). Wonder if the Storm would consider a trade? Clarendon for a second round pick? Seems like there's a lack of PGs in the league, yet players like Goodwin, Hiedemen & Bell are unemployed.

Well we do have 2 PGs (+Peddy), we just start both of them

Clutch from Loyd. That was a nice play.

Why is this game taking so long to end?

I love the Loyd/Howard pick and roll. Plays to both their strengths.

Storm lost Canada, Mystics lost Toliver. Both big loses for each team, yet Seattle comes away with the win.

Mystics will be kicking themselves over that one. They should have had it in the bag.

So impressed with Mercedes this season. If Seattle had been able to add her to a healthy team they would be such a complete team.

Enough with the excuses for EDD. She has not lived up to the hype this season. Not only has her offense fallen off, but she's a terrible defensive player. Forget about Howard causing her problems, Russell was also eating her up on both sides of the ball...Great job By Russell...The Liberty must be slitting their wrists right now.

Wow that wasnt classy at all by the Mystics, inbounding and trying to do the fast break with Canada on the floor

What are they supposed to do, call a timeout? Seattle has to take the foul in that situation...

She went down during Seattle's possession. After the shot fell, pretty much everybody stopped, then EDD decides hey they're a player down, let's get a cheapie. I didn't like it. Surely common sense can prevail in that scenario.

Then maybe Seattle should call timeout when they see their teammate down?

EDD inbounded to the safest option, Seattle had bodies tight on the 2 closest Mystics players...

And that is fine but then you wait for them to foul ya. Pretty easy.
I dont like the fact that in the nba and wnba refs cant stop the game when injuries are happening. Its dangerous.

You play until the whistle blows. If a player is hurt, she will be hurt just as badly after you score as before you score. Her injury isn't going to get worse while you're laying it in.

Also, Mercedes Russell has emerged as a pretty good player -- yet another Tennessee player who had to learn how to play after she graduated.

Toliver was ejected after getting her second technical foul. No word on Canada's injury.
