Wow, did the announcers just do a whitewash job on Riquana Williams. After gushing about the way she was playing, they tell about how she missed time because of her domestic abuse charges, but only refer to it as "a legal matter" and "her current legal situation." Then they went back to praising her game.

I'm OK with it. This is not the venue to get into it.

I think they checked it because she called her DAN tas in previous seasons

Perhaps you're right, but I'd definitely like to see them limit how much they talk about how good she is.

And now the studio update heaps the praise on as well, back to the announcers for more praise. I'd prefer they only gave praise grudgingly; she is admittedly playing well.

Anyone know if Maya was there for the jersey retirement? I didn't get to see the start of the game...

She is in some of the pictures

I wonder if someone has managed to interview Brunson. She is there, she smiles so seems ok, Is she also retired then?

Brunson hasn't officially retired. But, IMO, she should.

I never realized how much Chiney gets away with literally using her arms to hack and hold other players.

She doesn't look like she has any intention of returning

I went back and watched it. It was unquestionably a charge on Dantas, after she passed the ball.

I don’t know who called it, but I could’ve swore I seen someone on this board say Shepherd was going to be a good pro.

I’m over the Rebecca and Ryan combination. They’re annoyingly chatty. I don’t care about Lobo’s middle school summer rec league team, or whatever they just spent a minute laughing about during a one possession game.

Second game in a row that DRob is taking a backseat to Lexie Brown. If Brown keeps this up, DRob might have to sign at a discounted reserve rate if she wants to return.
