Assuming there is a WNBA season, which second round pick will have the best season this year?

I voted for Brewer because I am an impossible homer

I voted for Dangerfield only because she's likely to get some decent playing time.

Fiebich & Geiselsoder aren't showing. Mompremier, Holmes & Agnew aren't making their team's roster. Doyle would be the Fever's third PG option if she sticks. Brewer would be the Dream's 5th post option if she beats out Coates. Cooper & Charles are longshots to make their respective team's roster. Shook or Odom would ride the bench with New York.

I voted for Danger Mouse because the Lynx need a PG.

Odom has been my sleeper pick. Not sure if NY is the best place (crowded roster), but she has WNBA-level athleticism, ability to elevate, and shot creation.

All 2nd rounders this year have now “made” a roster - with the exceptions of Geiselsoder and Fiebich out of Germany, both of whom were deferral picks from the get-go.

13. Kylee Shook, New York
14. Kathleen Doyle, Indiana
15. Leaonna Odom, New York
16. Crystal Dangerfield, Minnesota
17. Brittany Brewer, Atlanta
18. Te’a Cooper, Los Angeles (originally drafted by Phoenix)
19. Joyner Holmes, New York (originally drafted by Seattle)
20. Beatrice Mompremier, Connecticut (originally drafted by Los Angeles)
21. Luisa Geiselsoder, Dallas (deferral pick)
22. Leonie Fiebich, Los Angeles (deferral pick)
23. Kaila Charles, Connecticut
24. Jaylyn Agnew, Atlanta (originally drafted by Washington)

I could’ve missed it, but I don’t believe a 3rd rounder has yet made an active roster (being either waived or full-season suspended by their original team).

And some of these players will likely see some action given how fluid the roster situations still are...

No third rounders are on a roster right now. 4 are unlikely to be as Pivec & Gillespie opted to be suspended and Kobi Thornton & Tynice Martin never signed their rookie contracts.

Connecticut really lucked out in the rookie department. They now employ not just one but two rookies that were considered "first-round talent" who got drafted in the latter half of the Draft. I really hope Curt Miller doesn't mess up their development like he messed up Tuck's and Banham's. Confused

To be fair, they apparently weren't considered first round talent by actual GMs.
