Quick look at the schedule:

Mercury magic number is 1 against the Fever and Wings, so I think they make the playoffs

L = game against current lottery team


Mystics 3L and Sky at home
Sun 3L and Sky at home
Sparks 2L, Aces, Storm, Lynx
Aces 1L (Dream), Sparks, Mercury
Sky 1L (Wings), Mercury, Sun and Mystics on the road

Looks like Sun and Mystics have the easiest schedule so should clinch 1 and 2, while Sparks and Aces fight over 3 and 4. Sky have probably the hardest schedule.

All I can hope for as a Sky fan is that either the Sparks or Aces somehow lay goose eggs the rest of the way so they can get #4 . Sky can’t seem to beat the Lynx and Taurasi doesn’t lose winner take all games.

Sparks loss to WAS pretty much prevented us from getting a top two seed. I'm not sure that I fully trust CON, but I don't think they can screw this up. Best we can do is hold on for the # 3 seed, and that way we avoid WAS until the finals (if we can make it there).

I'm trying to make a plane reservation based on if the Storm will have a home game on Sept. 11 or not (5 or 6 seed). It's starting to look like they most likely won't have a home game that day -- will end up 7 or 8 seed--unless they do really well the rest of the season
